Designed specifically for commercial gyms, our Premium PU Weight Plates are a massive upgrade over the standard rubber weight plates available everywhere.
The Premium Plates feature a cast polyurethane (PU) finish just like our Premium Dumbbells and Fixed Barbells, covering a cast iron core. Polyurethane is much denser and more durable than rubber, making it all the better to cope with the inevitable abuse that comes with throwing weights around. The matte finish is resistant to scratches and scuffs, and easier to clean, meaning your plates will look fresher and last longer than can ever be expected from standard rubber plates.
We've designed the Premium Plates to feature a slightly contoured lip around the edge of the full weight range, so when the plates are inevitably dropped or bang against each other in use, the branding is kept safe and the plates are easy to lift up when lying flat on the ground. For easy handling, we've also includes handles on the sides of all 10-20kg plates.
The branding is laser printed and pure Iron Edge: clear white font against a plain black background. Uncluttered, clear as day and visible from a distance.
We also offer custom branding for a more personalised touch.
The Premium PU Plates are perfect for exercises like bench pressing, squats or using plate-loaded machines. They're not designed with ground-based lifts like cleans though, as the sizes vary between weights. This is what our range of Bumper Plates is for.

- The Rubber Plates aren’t intended to be dropped, they’re best used for machines, bench pressing, etc
- We recommend using Bumper Plates if you want to perform deadlifts, Olympic lifts etc

- All of our equipment is made with Olympic specs (50mm diameter holes) in mind
- Can I pick these up
- Sorry, but we cannot accommodate pick ups. We can ship all over Australia though!
